ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Michael Spillane was born in Swansea, South Wales and has been drawing and painting since the age of eight. He has an eclectic background in the arts including fine arts, commercial art, writing, teaching and music. Michael's paintings and illustrations have been published widely in magazines and exhibited in Montreal, Ottawa, Bermuda, Wales and England. He has always been interested in classical drawing and painting methods and brings a unique passion to his teaching. Michael teaches a variety of courses at the Visual Arts Centre in Mississauga and is now offering courses at the Spillane Studio of Fine Arts.
