Classical Still Life in Oil
This workshop for all skill levels – from beginner to advanced – gives students the opportunity to complete a classical-style still life oil painting. Attention is given to the development of form through careful blending and shading techniques, along with detailed step-by-step instructional handouts, demonstrations and individual attention. Explore the fundamentals of classical painting techniques and the traditional methods of underpainting, glazing and developing the painting over a succession of layers. Materials List available for download on our website. Bring a bagged lunch.   
• 20 x 16 cotton canvas • Ruler / eraser / pencil • Disposable palette pad • Liquin medium (Original or Glazing) • Paper towels • A handful of Q-tips • Small diamond-shaped painting knife
